The extension of a Shopping Mall in Dortmund has been built with Peikko's anchor bolts and 1,2 kilometers of DELTABEAM®.
The main reason for using Peikko's system is the lightness of Slim Floor construction; DELTABEAM® together with hollowcore slabs. The lower floors of the building are older ones with existing foundations and concrete columns with lower concrete quality.
With DELTABEAM® and hollowcore slabs it is possible to use the old foundations without any changes. Only the existing concrete columns had to be reinforced.
